what questions do you have?
Want some advice please about my concerns over Erectile Dysfunction
I am here.
can you tell me more about your ED
do you have diabetes?
how long has the ED been going on?
does viagra work for you?
I have trouble getting an erection and this seems to be getting gradually worse with time. Viagra seemed to work initially, but not so useful now. I think I'm a borderline diabetic, but regular tests (I have a pilots license) don't show this as getting any worse? Really is a worry
you might need better testing to check for diabetes.
like a hemoglobin a1c and glucose challenge test.
at your age, your nerves and your blood vessels to the penis around the prostate might not be working as well as before when you are younger
you might need also to get your testosterone levels checked.
low testosterone can also affect erections.
what dose of viagra are you using now?
I'm pretty sure I've had both of those in the past and the results are 'not diabetic, but need to be careful'. I've tried a range of ED tablets, including the daily 5mg Letvia and 100mg Viagra. Neither really makes a great deal of difference, where as about 18 months ago they did seem to help. My local GP doesn't seem to have anything more to offer. Is there an easy test for testosterone levels?
testosterone would be a blood test
for serum testosterone level
your GP should refer you to a urologist.
you should look into getting a penile vacume pump
and trying some vacume exercises to help improve blood flow into the penis
these are used with a soft silicone elastic band at the base of the penis to help keep blood in the penis.
there are other medications for erections just as injectibles into the penis like trimix or quadmix with alprosadil in them.
or penile muse supositories into the penile urethra.
I have to go see a patient.
I'll be back in 5 minutes

OK ... chat in a few minutes
I did experiment with a 'cock ring' a little while ago and this DID seem to make a real difference at creating a much stronger erection. Does this indicate where the problem could be?
that is good that helped.
a vacume penile pump could help as well.
along with viagra.
in the USA, there are sexual rehabilitation specialist usually affiliated with urology departments to help patients with erectile dysfunction
you would benefit from seeing a urology specialist.
and getting your blood serum testosterone levels checked.
best of luck to you
let me know if you have other questions.
I'm due a cholesterol test and I'm thinking about asking for a testosterone test too. What test exactly to I ask for? ... and is there a directory of private urology specialists if my GP doesn't want to refer me?
ask for a serum testosterone level to be added to your cholesterol level.
no private urology list in the UK
many urologist do work in both private and public urology.
