any fever or chills?
well, it can take a few weeks or so to get over a GI illness
the sloshing is fluid moving around
generally the fluid moves in one direction, but if your gut it still getting back in sync, it may not be moving forward in smoothly
so you have some pockets of fluid here and there
as above, generally the fluid moves in one direction, but if your gut it still getting back in sync, it may not be moving forward in smoothly
things you can do are:
make sure you are drinking a lot of fluids
eat a bland diet- rice crackers juice soup, bananas
because the sloshing means that you are not quite back to normal
and you are still having a lot of stool
well, don't worry about the sloshing, it is really just temporary
no, not at all.
this is very benign and temporary
right, it can take a few weeks
probably was a stomach virus, because you don't usually get fever with food poisoning
the sloshing is pockets of fluid
so little pockets get left behind
eventually it evens up
right, because you are eating and food is moving through the bowel as you are processing it
I understand what you are saying
your gut is not in sync
so it does not move fluid and food forward properly
so anything you eat and drink can get backed up a little
and so you have sloshing
you will get over this
it is NOT a big deal
and it doesn't mean anything is bad
when you drank a lot of water, your stomach sloshes because you haven't absorbed it all
people's stomachs are often gurgly or sloshy after an illness
did you see that?
are you still there?
I hope that I provided you with excellent service :-)?
are you there
No, it will not need to be drained.
It will be reabsorbed over tiem
the stool is thin because it has not bulked up
because of the recent illness
I would not worry about it
