My son has a red rash that has increased in its circular radius

Customer Question

My son has a red rash that has increased in its circular radius to about 10 cm in diameter over the last 24 hours... But was a small bump (maybe a bite) 72 hours ago.
It did itch, and is slightly swollen...
The rash is a dark red and even in colour.
Is this something that needs checking?

This system doesn't appear to let me which is annoying!
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 3 years ago.
I am having problems from this end as well....I have nothing to do with that...
this sounds like an allergic reaction to a bite
I would try benadryl, if it does not rapidly resolve then a doctor needs to look at it.
