This is Dr. David
can you tell me more about this "spot"
is it a blister?
can you upload a photo of it?
how old are you?
is it under your nose?
does it hurt on the inside of your lip at all?
that is unusual that it hurts so much but you can't see anything on the skin.
sometimes early blisters or early infections like early cold sores around the mouth can start to hurt before there is manifestation on the skin.
have you had these spots before on your lips?
or around your mouth or nose?
I use salicylic acid acne creams typically for these skin red tender spots.
this usually draws out the skin blemish.
you can also try witch hazel
which can help draw out the infection
it sounds like most likely an infected skin pore
or early acne.
sudocrem quinoderm cream is more like a neosporin cream for cuts. most likely not.
and fuciden cream is an ointment
you need something to dry the skin like salicylic acid or witch hazel
to draw out the acne skin blemish
you can go to your drug store and ask for any over the counter acne cream with salicyclic acid in it.
they will carry some.
do you have any other questions?
why did you rate poor service?
I am still trying to help you.
no, aloe vera cream will not help.
you need an acne medication with alicylic acid in it
and then a cover up cream or foundation makeup over it.
try the witch hazel
and a cover up foundation.
did they have any acne medication at all there?
you can try burts bees blemish stick.
and a foundation cover up over it.
it could take several days to get better.
no, there is no short cut to these skin blemish
some things in life we can't change.
I wish I wasn't 5'2" tall.
my wife uses manuka honey imported from new Zealand to treat her gastritis and swears by it.
we pay about 40-45 US dollars per jar
it is very very thick honey.
and has antibacterial properties and is good for wounds
manuka honey also is used in medihoney wound care products for open wounds because of this antibacterial properties.
not all honey is manuka honey.
you can try it on your lip.
it may or may not get rid of the red painful blemish before christmas.
you might still need foundation cover up to cover it if you are going to holiday celebrations.
yes, you can try that.
