Dr. David :

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

retrograde flow to common femoral and common iliac arteries is not dangerous

Dr. David :

and can happen after femoral bipass graft surgeries.

Dr. David :

I would see a vascular surgeon and get a doppler ultrasound of the area

Dr. David :

but I bet the retrograde flow is normal.

Customer:

Will I need medical Intervention as you say retrograde flow is normsal

Dr. David :

you will not need medical intervention if the retrograde flow is normal.

Dr. David :

if the flow is normal and there is no narrowing of the flow, then you are fine.

Customer:

What happens if there is narrowing

Dr. David :

then the artery might need to be openned.

Dr. David :

but it doesn't sound like there is narrowing.

Dr. David :

do you have any other questions?

Customer:

OK thanks doctor
