Ask a Doctor and Get an Answer to Your Medical Question ASAP
Hi there. Thank you for your question. I will be helping you out with your queries
Since how long are you having this pain?
How did it start?
When I looked after my Granddaughters for a week and they are small so there was a lot of lifting
Is the pain in the shoulder region?
Yes and down to the elbow
Can you lift your arm above your head?
Compare it with your normal arm.
The other arm is fine
It could be adhesive capsulitis or rotator cuff tendinitis.
This should be treated aggressively.
What is that? and will it get better
Treatment is with anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen 400 mg three times daily for a couple of weeks. I would have also liked that you should get an injection of cortisone in your shoulder joint after this is diagnosed.
Because if this is not treated early with medications and physiotherapy it can lead to a frozen shoulder.
I would strongly recommend that you should follow up with a pain medicine specialist for this to be treated aggressively.
Shall I go to the doctors?
Yes you should.
Mention the possibility of frozen shoulder.
Thankyou very much I am very grateful
