He sees a GP tomorrow to get a referral
well he needs to see an ortho at the earliest
this can be a recurrence of the problems from SLFE
sometimes there may be a recurrence of the SLFE itself
it can also be other complications of SLFE
I thought that might be the case, We don't have an appointment till 5pm unfortunately.
this can be chondrolysis, or loss of articular cartilage of the joint
it can also be avascular necrosis,or decrease of blood supply to the head

you need to see your GP and get a referrral to the ortho
discuss about the possibilities of these two complications - avascular necrosis and chondrolysis
this will ensure that the GP gives his referra
a checkup with an Ortho is a must
tests like CT and/or MRI of the joint will be needed
