Resolved Question:

Hello, what sort of a heart rate would you expect at rest for a 36 yr old woman of average weight and short height and what would you expect it roughly to be when having climbed a flight of stairs? Should it change that dramatically? Would fitness come into this? Thanks

Hello. I'm Dr. Phil, licensed and practicing internist. Excellent service is my goal.

I would expect a resting HR of 60-80 with an increase to 130-140 with climbing stairs
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Would around 90 at rest and 160 with climbing stairs be dangerous or just unfit?
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 3 years ago.
