Hi I'm Dr. Phil
Can I ask your first name?
Hi I'm Geraldine
Nice to meet you
The exercise and weight training will not affect your GFR
This should be evaluated by a kidney doctor though
An age related decline in GFR is expected but not this much without any other risk factors
I recommend you see a nephrologist for urine studies, kidney ultrasound and further workup
OK that answer's my question. I have never been ill in any significant way.
It could simply be age related but it should be worked up
Is that helpful Geraldine?
Yes but I am only 60
I know and it sounds like you are healthy!!!
Which is why I suggested a workup
to rule out something else
OK I'll make an appointment with my doctor when I know he has my early morning urine result. Thanks
you're welcome :)
would you be so kind as to click a positive face for me before leaving Geraldine?
