Dr. David :

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

I am sorry you are having these itchy spots.

Dr. David :

what happened before, the itchy spots just went away on their own?

Dr. David :

have you tried any moisturizing cream on the areas?

Dr. David :

sometimes winter dry skin can cause itchiness of the skin.

Dr. David :

hello?

Customer:

Before they took a couple of weeks to go. My skin is not dry the only itching is on the actual spots.

Dr. David :

I see.

Dr. David :

this could be a fungal infection.

Dr. David :

or eczema reactive skin.

Dr. David :

if a fungal infection you might need a course of antifungal cream to help.

Dr. David :

if eczema, you might need to talk to your doctor about using a hydrocortisone steroid cream for a bit to help.

Customer:

Ok Thankyou. I think maybe it is a fungal infection as I do sweat easily.

Dr. David :

I see.

Dr. David :

you can try an over the counter antifungal cream like clotrimazole 2-3 times a day for 4-6 weeks.

Dr. David :

make sure you continue to use the cream for a week even after the rash and itchiness disappears.

Dr. David :

best of luck to you

Dr. David :

I hope the area gets better.
