Dr. K. :

Hello, this is Dr K.. Answers are not medical advice and do not constitute a doctor/patient relationship. I look forward to helping you today.

Dr. K. :

What was your temperature?

Customer:

38

Customer:

not very high

Customer:

a low one

Dr. K. :

Ok so this sounds like a viral infection. The concern in a young person with a fever and neck pain with headache is meningitis.

Dr. K. :

It is much more likely to be a simple virus, but meningitis could be very dangerous so its best to be seen by a Dr.

Dr. K. :

Your neck cannot really be dislocated though you can strain your neck muscles That does not sound like the case here

Customer:

Alright

Dr. K. :

I hope this helps

Customer:

But i have lifted very heavily the day before this happened

Dr. K. :

Well its possible that you did strain your muscles then but the fever is concerning.

Dr. K. :

I would still advise you to be seen by a Dr

Customer:

ok i see

Customer:

thanks
