Another possibility can be the inflammation of the eye lid glands ( blepharitis).
Blepharitis can be treated with baby shampoo.
You need to massage the eye lids with baby shampoo for about 2 minute during warm water shower daily.
Artificial tears containing cellulose may be effective.
You have tried several.
In that case, prescription medication known a cyclosporin eye drops are safe and effective way to treat dry eyes.
Fish oil supplements up to 3 grams daily also has been shown to help with this problem.
