Customer Question

Hi,

I recently sprained a muscle playing tennis and had chronic back pain for a few days. the pain was moving from my thigh to lower back anytime I sit for a while. I was advised to do a massage and immediately the pain went away. However, a week after I played tennis again and was surprised to experience the pain from lower back to my entire groin area. I saw a doctor who said since there is no swelling in the groin area is it a muscular problem. just wondering if I need to seek better medical attention? kindly help.

Hi Rabiu

I noticed you exited the chat

This is likely related to a disc in the low back that is pressing on a nerve

It can cause leg and groin pain

I recommend physical therapy and/or chiropractic therapy

Hold off on tennis until it heals.

90% of these will resolve by 6 weeks time
