Dr S.A.Alam :

any tests done ?

Customer: No I've seen a doctor before and they say it's normal
Customer: They also said it could be stress related that's why it's normal
Dr S.A.Alam :

As online it will be impossible to give exact diagnosis as you have not tests done. There are 4 main causes that can cause chest pain

Dr S.A.Alam :

heart, lungs, gut and musculoskeletal.

Dr S.A.Alam :

Your symptoms are more like pleurisy. or in simple words inflammation of the lung covering.

Dr S.A.Alam :

Main features of this problem are...

Customer: Okay so shall I see a doctor and ask for some tests?
Dr S.A.Alam :

occurs mostly after chest infections,

Dr S.A.Alam :

increases with cough and respiration

Dr S.A.Alam :

sharp in character.

Dr S.A.Alam :

comes on and off

Dr S.A.Alam :

So it is more likely to be pleurisy.

Customer: Great so shall I ask for some tests?
Dr S.A.Alam :

In most cases it is self limiting, painkillers over counter can help

Dr S.A.Alam :

Chest X rays are also needed for this.

Dr S.A.Alam :

mostly normal but done to rule out lung problems.

Customer: Okay
Dr S.A.Alam :

You have questions ?

Customer: No not at all thank you so much
Dr S.A.Alam :

I hope chat has helped to make a plan for further action on this problem ?
