Hi,I have been having an unpleasant smell coming from my mouth

Customer Question

Hi,I have been having an unpleasant smell coming from my mouth at first I thought it was from my teeth but I later realized it's coming from my throat(from the upper surface that's between my mouth and the throat to be precise) what could be the cause?

Hi--any problem with your sinuses or any nasal drainage? Any sore throat or gums and any problem with heartburn or indigestion?

OK--you may either have a pharygitis--throat infection--a sinusitis---sinus infection--or perhaps gastric acid reflux, any of which could cause the breath problem. You could try using an antacid medication like Zantac or Prilosec but since you more likely need antibiotics, you should see a doctor about this Abubakar
