if you were straining alot and using a lot of muscles, this could have caused you to accidentally push out some liquid stool out of your rectum.
this is common and not alarming.
you can also try to do kegal exercises to help strengthen your anal sphincter to help prevent this in the future.
I take it you are also taking thyroid supplemental hormones.
and medication to help lower cholesterol.
have you had a stool test for blood in your stool?
