This is Dr. David
I am sorry you are having these pains.
you should at least get a hip xray and a thoracic spine MRI scan to check for pinched nerves and arthritis in the hip.
if you are overweight, the extra weight on your hip and back can be causing pain as well.
it sounds like you are starting to get depressed.
depression can cause pain in some patients. some antidepressants such as cymbalta can help decrease body pains due to depression.
what antidepressant did he give you?
are you over weight?
sometimes physical therapy can help improve range of motion and back strengthen and decrease pain as well.
you should go back to your doctor and ask for more scans and xrays of your hip and spine
to check for arthritis and pinched nerves in your back.
these could be causing the pain.
ask if physical therapy could help the pain.
you might do well with trying to do more walking and exercise regularly.
exercise can help.
ask for some xrays and scans.
try the tramolol as well to see if that helps the pain
see if the sertraline can help
that can take 3-4 weeks to start working to help with depression.
I hope you get better
