it sounds like you have badly sprained your ankle.
you should get it xrayed at the A&E or hospital to make sure you didn't fracture a bone in your ankle.
if there is no fracture, then you should be icing the ankle 20-30 minutes at a time 4-6 times a day
and elevating your ankle as much as you can when you are sitting down
is there swelling in the ankle?
No swelling, bruising or marks of any kind
