OK Sara Jane--but do you have any medical conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No I do not. I have ulcerative colitis

OK. Your eGFR indicates a mild, first stage kidney function disorder and it isn't an emergency right now but you need to see a nephrologist for other testing like a 24 hour creatinine clearance test and a kidney ultrasound. Usually one sees this with diabetes or high blood pressure but not always. You may have a kind of nephritis--a kidney inflammation disorder--but right now there's no need to worry too much about it. Usually this can be easily treated with a medication called an ACE inhibitor to protect your kidneys, and a low salt diet. You need to see a kidney specialist but that can be in the next month or so--not an emergency
