Hi I have just been walking my dog when I slipped on some mud

Resolved Question:

Hi I have just been walking my dog when I slipped on some mud and fell over on my right side, which is my bad side as I have sciatica. I managed to continue my walk and get home without too much trouble. I do notice that my chin is a bit tingly now, is this something I should be concerned about?

Hi--just your chin and no more of your face? Any neck pain or stiffness? Any vision problems?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No, no problems at all, just feels a bit numb

OK Alexandra. No bruising and I assume you didn't actually hit your chin?

No bruising and sure I didn't hit my chin

OK Alexandria. Most likely you had a kind of whiplash of your neck and you now have a compressed nerve that's causing this. It should resolve itself within a day or two, but to be on the safe side you should have a doctor look at you and I would get x-rays of your neck to make sure there's not small fracture there which you could have even with absolutely no neck symptoms
