Hello,
Welcome to justanswer.com and thank you for your question.
I am going to assist you with your question. First I need a little more information-

How long has this been going on for?
Are you suffering from any medical condition or on any medication ?
Do you have such rash on one side of chest?
Associated blister/ bumps formation?
Is it painful to touch?
Do you have associated itching?

Kind Regards,
Dr. Robert

It has been going on for over a month, the Doctor prescribed canestan cream but still not working. I suffer from high blood pressure and take Irbesartan tablets daily. The rash is across my chest and under my arms and some on the back of my neck. It is not painful. Sometimes there is slight itching.

Dear Customer, Thanks for providing additional information.
I'm so sorry to hear of your discomfort.

It could be due to dermatitis. The second possibility would be Seborrheic Dermatitis, which is a type of eczema.

For the time, you can follow these measures-

1. You should mix 1% Cortisone cream with 1% Clotrimazole cream and apply over the affected area twice a day, for at least 10 days.

2. You should take Tab Claritin 10 mg twice a day.

3. You should also use Calamine lotion for local application.

4. When washing or bathing, keep water contact as brief as possible.

5. Take tab Motrin 400mg twice a day. This will reduce inflammation of skin.
These all are OTC drugs.

Temperature changes and stress may cause sweating and aggravate the condition. Calamine lotion and cool oatmeal baths would be helpful.

There is no reason to take stress for serious issue like skin cancer.
Symptoms of skin cancer are-

It is associated with something growing on your skin, It may look like flesh-colored (or pink, red, or brown) pearl-shaped lump or a
Pimple that just won’t clear.
In your case, there is no reason to take stress for skin cancer.

It could be related with chronic dermatitis or eczema. If required a course of antibiotics would be prescribed.
Please don't worry for cancer, You don't have such issue.

I would suggest, that you should consult Dermatologist so that clinical diagnosis and management can be done.

Please let me know how I can be of further assistance.
My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back, I am happy to address follow-up questions.
