Dear customer,

Thank you for providing quick additional info.

The lower abdominal pain you are having since last 6 years can be due to different causes. Most common one are:peptic ulcer, cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder) with or without gallstones, peptic ulcer, food allergy, hernia.

Other less common causes are:Diverticular disease, including diverticulitis.

Peptic ulcer seems to be the most probable cause & it gets aggravated after few hours of meal.

You need following tests:

-Colonoscopy,

-Endoscopy,Gastroscopy or EGD,

-Barium meal studies

These tests will narrow down the diagnosis & to know the exact cause. Take Pepto-Bismol 2tsf thrice a day after meals.Take tab.Ranitidine(Zantac) 150 mg twice a day. Both these are available without a prescription.

Avoid smoking & alcohol consumption.Dont take fried, spicy, salty, chilly food items. All this will help you greatly to keep your symptoms at bay.

So for confirmation,I advice you to make an appointment with your doctor to have these tests done so as to know the exact underlying cause & then treatment will be done accordingly.

Till then take these above described medications. It will help you greatly.

Hope this helped.

My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have gotten anything less, please reply back, I am happy to address follow-up questions.

Thank you

Kind Regards,

Dr. Robert
