Over a few months I have been experiencing painful achey legs

Customer Question

Over a few months I have been experiencing painful achey legs a couple of times a week & very stiff and still very tired when I wake in the morning. I have also spent the last fours days aching all over with burning sensations in my some of my muscles and feet. I wonder if it's all linked and should I see my gp?
Thank you

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Hi there. Thank you for your question. I will be helping you out with your queries

Dr. Shahzad MD :

You should definitely be seen for this.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

You should have a thyroid function test done among a complete blood count and other routine tests. I would also like that you should have a vitamin D level done. Quite often a low vitamin D level can lead to these kind of pains and aches.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Meanwhile you can continue taking ibuprofen and paracetamol off and on.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Let me know if you have any further questions.
