This is Dr. D.J., experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

Dr. D.J. :

Intestinal inflammation is the likely cause.

Dr. D.J. :

Viral infection can cause this commonly.

Dr. D.J. :

Another possibility can be mild appendicitis.

Dr. D.J. :

Appendix also is located around that region.

Dr. D.J. :

Hence, appendicitis can start like this type of pain.

Dr. D.J. :

Since the pain did not worsen, does not sound serious yet.

Dr. D.J. :

Also if you have constipation problem that can also cause similar symptom.

Dr. D.J. :

So, if the symptom worsens, you will need further evaluation with a CT scan of the abdomen.

Dr. D.J. :

In most cases, inflammation will resolve within a week or so.

Dr. D.J. :

Bland diet is desirable.

Dr. D.J. :
