my 76 year mother is complaining of chest pains and feeling yonderly -says she eels as though not enough oxygen getting to her brain. she has a past history of pneumonia and bad lungs

Take here to the emergency immediately.
This can be heart, and that is the biggest concern.
It can be a clot to the lung, also life threatening.
Pneumonia can be life threatening in this age group.


I would not wait one minute on this, she is already in danger by your description.
