Hi, I have been having what feels like missed heart beats recently,

Resolved Question:

Hi, I have been having what feels like missed heart beats recently, when I use my heart rate monitor on my phone it looks like these are actually double beats every 4/5 normal beats - it happens 2-3 times a day and lasts anything from a few mins to an hour. Nothing specific seems to trigger it. Heart rate while relaxing is generally low 70's and doesn't seem to speed up during these episodes - I have just been putting it down to work stress, any ideas?

Hello
This is typical of PVCs.
Some people call them skipped beats.
Premature ventricular contractions.
They are most often harmless.
They can increase with stress.

However, you need an EKG from your doctor.
And exam.

If you develop increased symptoms go to the ER.
