This is Dr. David
to give you the best advice, we need to see her blood count levels.
do you have copies of her blood testing reports?
without her blood test results, we can't say if she has thalasesemia or not.
you need to get the report.
she could have a microcytic anemia
or macrocytic anemia.
microcytic anemia are with small red blood cells and this most commonly is because of lack of iron.
less common causes of microcytic anemias are thallasemias and lead poisoning.
are when the red blood cells are small
with a low MCV or mean corpuscular volume.
of 75 or less.
let me know if you have other questions.

let me know what the lab test show.
you need to check on her CBC blood count
or a Complete Blood count
and find out what her MCV level is or mean corpuscular volume is.
and see if it is low, or less than 75
don't forget to leave positive feedback when done
so I can get credit for helping you today.
