This is Dr. David
cystitis or inflammation of the bladder is less common for men than it is for women.
this is because the male urethra is longer and more protected than the female urethra.
and it is harder for bacteria to go up into the penis and up the long urethra for men.
I don't think I have thrush because im not itchy or no discharge but need to urinate a lot its not burning but I just feel uncomfortable so I think its cystitis sothe chances of him getting it are quite low then?
just because you have cystitis symptoms and have sex, this does not spread cystitis to him.
you could still have a bacterial bladder infection.
so you should see your doctor and get your urine tested
and if there is an infection, you will need a course of antibiotics.
good luck to you
