I have redness and a red rash on my face which has come and gone over the last year or so, but has got increasingly worse recently. Although at the moment the rash covers my whole face, it is generally worse on one cheek and my chin, however I think it matches the other symptoms of rosacea. My GP diagnosed acne, but the rash isn't whiteheads or blackheads, just red bumps. He prescribed peroxide gel but I haven't used this as I think it will make my sensitive skin worse. Could it be rosacea if it's all over my face (not just the 'butterfly' as my GP said)? If so, what can I do to alleviate the rash?
