Starting three weeks ago I started experiencing speriodic pains

Customer Question

Starting three weeks ago I started experiencing speriodic pains throughout my entire body. The pains are on going and daily. I would have a pain in my stomach, then arm, then leg, then back that would go to my neck. The pains last for about 2 minutes to the most then leave. Then I would have another pain somewhere else in my body then it will go. After the first week I then started to experience muscle spasms that occur throughout my body as well! This occurs everyday now and throughout the entire day. Sometime I also would experience numbness in my arms or legs. Iv been to the emergency 5 times now and they took my bloods and said there not concerned because all my bloods are fine and sent me home with pain killers and told me to go and see my gp. I'm tired of these pains and I need to know what this is coming from or what can be causing this pain throughout my body.

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

I am sorry you are having these pains and spasms.

Dr. David :

you need to make sure they tested for your blood magnesium levels

Dr. David :

you also need blood testing to check for autoimmune disorders.

Dr. David :

your body could be making antibodies against itself

Dr. David :

low blood magnesium levels could be causing your nerves to misfire.

Dr. David :

magnesium is usually not checked routinely in routine blood tests.

Customer: Okk I will get that checked out as soon as possible. Have you ever heard of someone with these same experiences and does the problem sound harmfull?
Customer: How can I get more magnesium if that is the problem?
Dr. David :

there are magnesium supplements you can take

Dr. David :

if your magnesium levels are found to be low.

Dr. David :

you can usually by these magnesium supplements at health food stores.
