you used a condom, that was the best thing you did.
that decreases risks of HIV, gonorrhea, chamydia, trichomonas to basically close to zero.
washing and taking a bath afterwards is a good idea as well.
you are really only at risks for herpes and HPV virus.
and there really isn't anything you can do to prevent herpes or HPV virus.
the more sex partners you have, the higher the risks for herpes or HPV virus.
I m just a bit worried . It was my first time and scared. Regretting what I did. Will never do again
I understand you are worried.
What are the symptoms of hpv or herpes.. Are these curable?
herpes causes painful blisters in the genitals
but the herpes virus can stay dormant in your body for years before it manifests as painful blisters.
once you get herpes, there is no cure, but it can be treated with anti-viral medications.
your immune system can get rid of HPV virus which causes genital warts.
What are things I should watch for in the next couple of weeks just to reassure myself mentally that I didn't catch anything . Do's and fonts
there are no signs for when you contract herpes.
herpes is an invisible virus which can lay dormant for years.
there are really no dos and don'ts
just keep bathing regularly and washing with soap once a day.

I need not be worried about hiv right? Do I still need to take a test? If yes then probably after how many days should I take one?
no, you don't need to worry about HIV.
you can take a test, but it will be negative if the condom didn't break.
