Dr. Natasha :

helol

Dr. Natasha :

hello

Dr. Natasha :

welcome to the chat

Dr. Natasha :

are you still there?

Dr. Natasha :

are they planning on coiling the aneurism?

Dr. Natasha :

You had an aneurysm or you have one?

Dr. Natasha :

I am not entirely clear

Customer:

i have an aneurysm, and i have been told there is nothing else the surgeon can do

Dr. Natasha :

Did they discuss the option of bypass surgery

Dr. Natasha :

bypass for the arm

Dr. Natasha :

http://www.jvascsurg.org/article/S0741-5214%2801%2971249-9/abstract?cc=y=?cc=y=

Customer:

8 months ago the aneurysm was 2.5 cm long the surgeon now believes it is no longer prudent to explore further as it has thrombosed

Dr. Natasha :

fair enough, but they can do bypass surgery

Dr. Natasha :

did you see the link above

Customer:

surgeon reckons that by pass would be too big as it is each side of the elbow joint

Dr. Natasha :

well they can do bypasses for the hand, so I imagine that it is possible for the arm

Dr. Natasha :

Where is your surgeon located?

Customer:

any leaders as to where to go for a second opinion.doc said the only option would be to go in through my chest collapse my lung and do some kind of operation involving nerves in my back.

Dr. Natasha :

that is what I was going to suggest.

Dr. Natasha :

UK or USA?

Dr. Natasha :

I would check out this clinic:

Dr. Natasha :

http://www.londonvascularclinic.com/

Dr. Natasha :

If they cannot help you, they can certainly refer you to someone who can

Customer:

how dangerous is that and what isthe chance of sucess, alsoif i stay as i am what is going to happen to my arm in the future.

Dr. Natasha :

I don't know the results of your angiogram and your other medical problems, so the person who can answer this is the surgeon

Dr. Natasha :

but I would HIGHLY recommend that you get this second opinion instead of accepting loss of your arm

Dr. Natasha :

check out the clinic I sent you

Dr. Natasha :

are you still there?

Dr. Natasha :

hello

Customer:

yes

Dr. Natasha :

ok

Dr. Natasha :

paul

Dr. Natasha :

you have a thrombosed artery- your only option is stenting or bypass

Dr. Natasha :

so I would get a second opinion from a private vascular specialist

Dr. Natasha :

Dr. Natasha :

Let me know what they say

Dr. Natasha :

I will check in with you in 3 weeks

Customer:

thanks at least it is some where to go.

Dr. Natasha :

you are welcome

Dr. Natasha :

did I provide you with excellent service?

Dr. Natasha :

hello?
