Hi there. Thank you for your question. I will be helping you out with your queries
Blood in the semen in the VAST MAJORITY of the cases is not something serious and usually signifies a minor injury to blood vessels in the urinary tract that is causing the blood to appear in the semen.
In the majority of people this will go away on its own in sometime to come.
However as a general rule anyone who has hematospermia (blood in semen) is advised to get tested and visit the doctor to rule out an infection which may require antibiotics.
Do rate me for my services when you are done asking.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Are you with me?
Yes you will require antibiotics if this is determined to be due to infection after a urine test and possibly a semen test.
Two weeks or until your infection or bleeding settles.
