Hello. In receiving oral sex, you are generally exposed to saliva alone, which does NOT transmit HIV. Even with the possibility of blood-tainted saliva (for example, due to bleeding gums), there has been NO documented case of HIV infection via this fluid. Clinical evidence suggests that low level of HIV in saliva and HIV-inactivating agent(s) in saliva act as barriers to transmission via saliva exposure.
