When asleep my eyelids stick to my eyes and are causing abrasions.

Resolved Question:

When asleep my eyelids stick to my eyes and are causing abrasions. Do take drops for dry eyes but not very affective. Nothing works at night and my sleep is being severely affected. This has only just started and wonder if it could be hay fever .

Hi--it doesn't sound like an allergy problem and it sounds like you have conjunctivitis--either viral or bacterial but if there's any crusting around your lids in the morning it's more likely bacterial. You need to see your doctor to see if you need antibacterial eye drops for this
