First of all, it is great to hear you have recovered well from bacterial maningitis.
This is a serious infection and can cause fatigue episodes intermittently for long time.
However, your symptoms will become less apparent oveer time like 3 to 6 months.
There are also other possibilities of your exhaustion.
Hypothyroidism or low thyorid hormone state is one common reason.
Hence, serm TSH and free T4 level should be checked.
Vitamin B12 deficiency, Iron deficiency, and vitamin D deficiency also should be ruled out.
Adrenal gland insufficiency is another cause of exhaustion.
Serum cortisol and ACTH level should be checked in the morning.
Please consider taking vitamin B12 1000 mcg daily in the morning along with vitamin D3 1000 IU daily.
And please get checked for thyroid and adrenal gland problem.
