Hi Richard

I still need to know what your main question is?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Why do knee go loose the 1st knee wasMRK, THE 2stage revision was an LCCK . Could the cement have anything to do with getting loose.

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 3 years ago.
Yes, it could

It could also be the anatomy of your knee

Perhaps the way your knee is built, it is very tough to get the cement/prosthesis to stick in place.

My surgeon wants me to see how I go on for 6months before I see him again. The pain is quiet bad at times,as im on morphine slow release twice a day. Is there any thing else ican do, as I do not want to stay on tablets.

ask if you can be sent for some physio

that might help strengthen the surrounding muscles and stabilize the knee

What would be the risks of further surgery. I feel that this would be rather a long recovery this time .

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 3 years ago.
Risks would include infection, bleeding, joint malfunction, bone loss

This is your third surgery so risks are higher but do you have a choice?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Could the LCCK replacement be at fault to cause these problems?

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 3 years ago.
Of course

There are always lots of issues with knee joint replacements Richard
