This is Dr. David
I am sorry about your sacral pain
I am glad you are going to get an MRI scan
this can see if you have a recurrence of an abscess or possible endometriosis.
another possibility is that you have excessive scar tissue and adhesions in your abdomen and pelvis from all of your prior surgeries and infections
which can lock up your bowels and cause severe pain.
with an elevated WBC count you could have pelvic inflammatory disease or an infection in your pelvis.
hopefully the MRI scan will show what is going on
you might need to go on antibiotics and birth control pills if a pelvic infection is found.
let me know if you have questions.
I would not wait a month for an MRI scan.
I would try to get a pelvic and abdominal ultrasound sooner
or a CT scan sooner.
you need to get a urine test as well.
if you have a pelvic infection you need to get on antibiotics sooner.
best of luck to you
or you can go to the A&E for sooner evaluation if you need to.
especially if you start to develop fevers
I hope you feel betterl
