Hi there, This is Dr Basu, Experienced Specialist. I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
Hi Dr. Basu thank you for your reply can you advise as to what you think it could be
do you have any other medical condition?
These symptoms are due to the nerve related.
If there is compression of the nerve supplying the right arm and forearm, then you will experience these symptoms.
Usually the compression occurs at the cervical spine level.
Sleeping posture can worsen this commonly.
Usually arthritis of the spine, or muscle spasm around the spine can cause irritation of the nerve.
This can be addressed successfully by physical therapy.
Physical therapy improves the spine movement and also releases pressure on the nerve.
Also vitamin B12 supplement 1000 mcg daily, vitamin B6 50 mg daily may help.
Diabetes and thyroid conditions also should be considered as they can affect the nerves.
But given the onset of symptoms during sleeping position suggests the nerve compression as the likely cause.
