Dr. David :

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

do you grind your teeth at night time when you sleep?

Dr. David :

this can cause inflammation of your TMJ joint which can cause headaches

Dr. David :

and TMJ inflammation of the Temporal Mandibular Joint which is the jaw bone can go behind the eyes and into the left jawbone as well.

Dr. David :

a bite guard at night time between your teeth can take some of the pressure off of the TMJ joint to help lessen headaches.

Dr. David :

also temporal or giant cell arteritis or trigeminal neuralgia could be causing these headaches as well.

Dr. David :

you would need a brain MRI scan to check for trigeminal neuralgia.

I'm sorry but this requires urgent evaluation. You could have a mass, stroke or a serious condition called temporal arteritis.I would go to A and E now.

This is Dr. David

with bad tinnitus in one ear and headaches and pains on one side, you need an MRI scan of the brain to look for trigeminal neuralgia which could be causing the pain

I mentioned temporal arteritis above as well.

the MRI scan would be able to see a stroke in the brain or not.

usually strokes would cause neurological conditions such as weakness in one part of the body or loss of speach ability.

it doesn't sound like you have had an MRI scan of your brain yet.
