Hi. Can you tell me exactly what the report said beyond the size of the tumour?

Malignant polyploid all tumour (30mm) in the oleo caecal valve region 10 biopsies have been taken. Ct scan and biopsy results next week

OK Jane. That's a fairly large tumour but the good news is that it's polypoid which means it may not have actually penetrated the colon wall. If all the tumour was removed and the margins are clear of cancer you may not need any further treatment other than follow up colonoscopies. If it has penetrated the bowel wall you'll have to have that part of your colon removed. So all in all this may not be as serious as possible but it will depend on the biopsy results
