Hello from JustAnswer.

There are several conditions that should be considered in this situation.

If sexually active, it is possible that this could be an infection by certain STDs, most likely chlamydia. Gonorrhoea also will typically cause burning with urination, but typically has more significant symptoms.

There also are certain non-sexually transmitted infections that can present with burning with urination. The most common in men is a prostate infection. There are some forms of urethra infections that are not sexually transmitted. Bladder infections (also called cystitis or UTIs, urinary tract infections), which are the most common cause of burning with urination in females is much less common in males, but is still possible.

Ultimately, it would require a proper evaluation to determine the exact cause.

If I can provide any further information, please let me know.
