Hi--how old is your husband and did he have chickenpox as a child? How long has the child had chickenpox?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

My husband only visited the child for an hour or two, he is 77. Yes he has had Chicken Pox before. The child has had something for two weeks.

OK Then there should be no problem with his visiting the cancer patient. Two reasons here--the child is probably in the crusting stage which means he's no longer infectious and your husband is immune to the virus since he's had chickenpox in the past.
