Dr. David :

This is Dr. David

Dr. David :

I am sorry about your daughter.

Dr. David :

she could be having bad migraine headaches which can cause visual light auras prior to headaches

Dr. David :

normal lights can be very bothersome for patients who have migraine headaches.

Customer: the light flickering is only in certain rooms in the house this has been going on now for more than a week
Dr. David :

I see.

Dr. David :

she could still have migraine headaches.

Dr. David :

is she willing to see a doctor to see if migraine medications can help?

Dr. David :

hello?

Customer: At the moment she thinks I do not believe her, she does suffer with anxiety and o.c.d. And has no confidence in our doctor
Dr. David :

I see.

Dr. David :

you should believe her.

Dr. David :

migraine headaches can cause lights to appear to flicker .

Dr. David :

it sounds like she needs a lot of therapy including treatment for migraine headaches and anxiety and ocd as well.

Dr. David :

is she getting her anxiety and ocd treated at this point?

Customer: I did not say that I did not believe her, I do believe there is a disturbance to her vision, regarding her other issues her doctor has offered self help books and counselling, which she has declined because she cannot interact or discuss her feelings with others
Dr. David :

if her anxiety and ocd are bad, she really needs to consider medication treatment like an SSRI agent like zoloft or paxil to help decrease anxiety and ocd.

Dr. David :

and she needs to consider possible migraine medication.

Customer: Y
Customer: Her doctor does not think she needs medication for her anxiety etc., perhaps I need to look for another g.p.
Dr. David :

yes, it sounds like she needs another GP doctor

Dr. David :

I agree.

Customer: Thank you, ***** ***** not think her disturbed vision could be neurological?
Dr. David :

I doubt it is neurological

Dr. David :

I bet most likely it is from her migraines or her anxiety disorder blowing up very very mild symptoms.

Dr. David :

if you squint you can cause lights to flicker. and other optical phenomenon.

Dr. David :

I would focus on helping her find a new GP doctor.

Dr. David :

best of luck to you and her.

Dr. David :

I hope she gets better.

Dr. David :

you should talk and support your daughter for her to try to find another GP doctor.

Dr. David :
