Dr. Shahzad MD :

Hi there. Thank you for your question. I will be helping you out with your queries

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Sounds like sinusitis on that side.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

So yes a sinus issue is the most likely explanation.

Customer: Ok.. So no chance of it being a csf leak?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

no

Customer: I was going to go to the A&E because the.fluid was very thin like water and was running very quickly into my nostril so I got scared that it could be csf
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Very thin fluid is most likely due to a viral infection

Customer: My eye sockets were hurting too.. Would the teeth hurting be linked to sinusitis ?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

yes

Dr. Shahzad MD :

hurting teeth are due to sinusitis

Dr. Shahzad MD :

also eye sockets hurting indicate that

Customer: What chance is there that it could be csf?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

no chance

Customer: Lol ok
Customer: Would csf be bilateral? Rather than just one side?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

would usually be unilateral but this is not CSF so why worry

Customer: I'm a bit of a worrying type.. I've not had a severe head injury or anything but still thinking that it could be csf
Customer: If I went to the hospital and told them that I got kicked in the head while playing football and then tell them about the fluid runnomg, wound they do a ct scan? I know it would be a lie
Dr. Shahzad MD :

you do not have a CSF leak

Dr. Shahzad MD :

trust me

Dr. Shahzad MD :

It is your anxiety getting the better of you

Customer: Ok .. Is this common symptoms of sinusitis?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

yes

Customer: Ok thanks.. So before I go, I'm not in any danger? Definately not csf?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

relax

Dr. Shahzad MD :

no danger at all
