I have a problem have a slight pain on my right side for about

Resolved Question:

I have a problem have a slight pain on my right side for about a week, I keep getting cramps, and upset tummy. sometimes I feel I need to go to the loo but nothing happens, I have also a times feel sick. I have just got over flu, now this. Can you give me some advice.

Do you have pain in right side of abdomen?
Do you have abdomen cramps?
Any change in bowel movements?
On a grade of 1 to 10 how will you rate the pain?

Dear Customer, Thanks for providing quick additional information.
Such symptoms could occur with Viral stomach flu. Usually such symptoms are viral and self limiting in nature.
Excess formation of gastric acid, could also cause such pain in right side of abdomen.
You should Tab. Acetaminophen to get relief from stomach ache and cramps.
You should eat something containing salt, such as crisps or soup.
You should maintain good standards of hygiene .You can take Ready-mixed rehydration sachets (eg Dioralyte, Rehidrat). You should Keep yourself hydrated, and maintain fluid levels.
Take Syp. Pepto-Bismol 2tsf thrice a day after meals. Take Zantac 150mg twice a day. Both of these are OTC drugs.
You should always drink up to eight glasses of water a day.
You should remain away from stress and anxiety. Start practicing Yoga and meditation. Deep breathing exercises and relaxation techniques will be helpful.
You should avoid these-
beans, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, sprouts, onions and garlic .
Please follow above measures, and most likely in 1 week, you would be free from symptoms.
