This is Dr. David
do you grind your teeth at night time?
this is very common and can cause inflammation of the left TMJ or temporal mandibular joint on that side
and cause jaw pain and scalp pain as well.
do yo have pain when you open up your jaw wide open?
it sounds like you most likely have inflammation of the left TMJ joint.
you should see a dentist or oral surgeon to evaluate your TMJ joint.
you might need to use ibuprofen or naproxen sodium to help decrease inflammation there.
you might even need a steroid injection
ok. I have a dentist check up on monday.
and you might need to wear a bite mouth guard at night time when you sleep
ask about possible inflamamtion of your TMJ joint.
I'm already on Naproxen for CRPS
I hope this TMJ joint inflammation gets better
