Hi there, This is Dr Basu, Experienced Specialist. I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
itchy rash can be caused by various possibilities.
Dry skin eczema is the most common cause.
That means dry climate is causing reaction to the skin.
Another possibility can be fungal infection of the skin
That can cause itchy rash as well.
Initially, you should try hydrocortisone cream twice daily.
Hydrocortisone is available over the counter.
Also use a moisturizer like Eucerine intense daily mosturizer lotion.
If this does not help in 2-3 days, then you should see your doctor for a clinical evaluation.
You will likely require more potent steroid cream and also anti fungal cream if there is infection.
Oatmeal bath soak will will also help daily.
It was my pleasure to help you today.
