I am experiencing severe pain from my left testicle which appears swollen compared to the right testicle. Should I go to my nearest A& E

With the kind of pain that you are having you should definitely go to the emergency

The reason why I say that is because this could be orchitis (infection of the testes) epididymo-orchitis (infection of the testis and the epididymis).

Another possibility is that of testicular torsion which is an emergency in itself.
You may require an antibiotic for this along with anti-inflammatory medications for which you definitely do need to be seen ASAP.
