genital warts look like a small cauliflower
under a magnifying glass.
if it doesn't look like a small cauliflower, and if it is smooth, then most likely it is not a genital wart
and it is a fordcye spot on the shaft of the penis.
This doesn't look like a cauliflower. It is more or less circular. Are they usually in clusters. More than one?
circular and smooth sounds like a fordcye spot.
Its not smooth. It is slightly raised above my penis. I can just about feel it if I run my fingers over.
if it looks like a pimple, then most likely it is just a pimple
from a blocked skin pore.
I do a lot of masturbating and sometimes rub skin of my penis. Could this be causing it please?
excessive masturbation can rub the skin and block skin pores.
The doctor said it looked like a small wart but he was a GP in a private clinic.
can you upload a clear jpg photo?
I don't know how to do it sorry.
warts are caused by HPV virus and this virus can be easily spread through sexual contact.
but it is not a lifetime infection.
90% of adults with normal immune systems can clear HPV virus infections in 2 years .
so even if it is a small wart, it doesn't mean you will have genital warts for life.
do you have any other questions?
Yes. Could it possibly be a wart that is not infectious?
warts are caused by HPV virus and HPV virus is easily spread through sex.
why don't you take a break from masturbation and see if it gets better.
it could get better.
I am still worried about this wart. The top of it is flat but it is slightly raised above the skin. There is only one,and it doesn't look like a small cauliflower to me. It only looks like a few of the images I have seen on the internet. Can you give me some more information please.
